Located on the south side of Harrogate as part of the Red Kite Learning Trust the school provides educational facilities for children aged 10-11 years old.
Heatworks replaced the existing boiler with a viessmann 200-W and left two spare stools on manifolds that are complete with isolation taps.
The automatic control system was installed to rotate the lead/lag boiler to ensure equal usage for all boilers. The heating pumps are controlled via a differential sensor in the system to meet the heating demand and to provide a form of pressure relief. The insulated heating flow and return pipework has been installed in a two-pipe system concealed within ducts and void spaces.
Heatworks allowed for the accommodation of the incoming water supply in the plant room. A new branch was fitted to feed the newly installed Rinnais water heaters. Cold water pipework was arranged such that all fittings are served from a service pipe with a regular flow of water.
Prior to handover both LTHW and CWBS systems were chemically dose and commissioned.
